Come Fish With Captain Laurie

The Fox River is known for its spring walleye runs beginning in March. The bay heats up shortly after when the eyes go into the bay and eventually move into the summer flats. In the fall, the process is reversed as they come back to the river and prepare for winter.

During the summer, walleye are transitioning when the smallmouth and perch come to life. Sturgeon Bay is well known for world-class tournaments and trophy bass, hosting many national tournaments. Perch also become targeted and can provide a great way to spend the day!

Anglers usually troll for walleye in the summer and they will tell you that it isn't uncommon to land a musky in the process! Trolling for musky is the most common method on this huge body of water but there is always a time and a place to cast bucktails and suicks, while soaking suckers, my favorite way to catch musky!

No matter if your goal is; to catch a personal best, a limit of eaters, or a master angler, it's all possible on the bay with Ladies First Guide Service LLC.
